Lawrencium Properties

All Lawrencium properties were studies only in atomic quantities, or, to be precise with single atoms of ²⁵⁶Lr (T_1/2 = 27 second). First chemical experiments were carried out in 1968 in USSR. The vapor pressure of LrCl₃ and their adsorption ability is similar to those observed for CmCl₃, CfCl₃ and FmCl₃. The oxidation state of Lawrencium in water solutions had been defined in 1970 in the USA as +3 by extraction of Lawrencium complexes.
