Lawrencium PropertiesProperties
All Lawrencium properties were studies only in atomic quantities, or, to be precise with single atoms of 256Lr (T1/2 = 27 second). First chemical experiments were carried out in 1968 in USSR. The vapor pressure of LrCl3 and their adsorption ability is similar to those observed for CmCl3, CfCl3 and FmCl3. The oxidation state of Lawrencium in water solutions had been defined in 1970 in the USA as +3 by extraction of Lawrencium complexes.
